Steam punk Motorcycle

Edited: Aug 18, 2017

Thanks for opening this board! I love steampunk and machining which naturally led me to Kieth's channel and now here. This is a project motorcycle I've been slowly working on. In no way can it match Kieth's precision and skills, but I've had fun working on it. This is from Halloween last year.

And a new fuel tank in the works, steam punk inspired.

I'm starting a machining class at my local community college next week, so I probably won't get to work on it much in the next 6 months.

While visiting a friend's workshop I found this "lightly modified" Sunbeam S7 lurking in the corner...

So being an old man from the United States I do admit I am not up on the new slang that may have come about since the 1980 period. What exactly is the definition of Steam Punk?

Thanks for starting the forum, I thought I would add to getting things going on a couple of occasion a group of Steampunks have visited Clay Mills Victorian Pumping Station near Burton-on-Trent Staffordshire (http://claymills.org.uk/ ) A good selection of photos of the visits along with other steam stuff can be found on the website I run from my club worth a visit http://www.blackcountrysteam.co.uk/claymills_collection.html
