Hi my names George Treasure I am 15 I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for companies or organisations that might be interested in potentially funding a steam wagon project that I am working on. I currently attend the wiltshire university technical college, live in romsey and have asperger's syndrome and dyslexia. I was not in education for 2 and a half years over years 7,8 and 9. This was due to large amounts of stress and social anxiety. Focusing on engineering and steam has enabled me to restart education and gain more confidence in social situations. The steam wagon is a scale working model of a 4" foden (s.w.b) steam wagon from steam traction world as I dont have the experience with machine-ing yet. I believe that this would help honor and commemorate the revolutionary technology of the past (steam). If you know anyone that might be at all interested in this project please do contact me. I have been lucky enough to have had engineering companies such as Patrick Trant from Trant engineering donate the price of one kit and I am working my hardest to make as much money as I possibly can all of which will go towards the project.
