Hello My name is Joshua Kilen and I am from the US.
I am wondering what is the best type of compressed air lubricator? A fog/mist type or a Oil drop type? The steam engines I am will be running are in this Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gn3NYN0dA6E
This is My channel and I do have other steam engine videos on my channel, here is the playlist of my steam engines: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL2xuU9q-UnTN9WUIdilVOpTlmv740ggL6
a nice thick machine oil or gear oil. Something with no sulphur or detergents.
others may know more.
Thanks Hugh, So it doesn't matter what type, as long they get lubrication? So even Norvey Turbine lubricating oil would work?
Welcome to the forum.
A nice collection of engines.
For short runs, you’ll get away with squirting some oil in the air/steam inlet.
Otherwise, an inline oil lubricator such as would be used for pneumatic tools would suffice.
cheers
Hugh
