As an enthusiast of Stuart Turners engines i have an ever growing collection of their engines. To fund this i have taken to buying engines that have been left too long in the shed or never finished, restoring them and selling them on to new owners.
in the process of collecting them i have done a lot of research and discovered quite a few interesting things about the changing designs and introduced models.
as i have found this info from loads of sources , i have decided to setup a website covering the lineage of the engines design and models.
To this end i am after information.
if you have a stuart turner catalogue i would greatly appreciate if you would spend 3 minutes looking through it and noting down all the engines listed and for Nos. 1,2,5,5a,7,7a,10v if they are column & Rod, double Column or Trunk types. and for No 8, 10h if open or trunk crosshead guide.
i would greatly appreciate you sending me this info or posting below
thanking you ahead of tume

I have a collection of old Stuart Turner catalogues from present day back to the 1940's all mostly in mint condition aside from a few rusty staples i had to replace in them and i could photograph certain pages if any are required although i do not have any Stuart Turner catalogues earlier than the year of 1938.
Hi Steve,
Email sent to you on this subject.

Hi there Ray
That’s sounds great send me an email to the one I have added to the original post, so we can have a chat and see what we have.

Hi Steve,
Glad to find another keen Stuart collector/researcher. I have a partly built large website covering the entire Stuart Steam Engine range. This is hosted in London, complete with domain name etc. My only decisions are, should I finish it? should I publish it? or should I look at another way of publishing all the information I have?
I have most of the research material written up, or available, BUT I find it very time consuming to put it all on the website, fiddling around with formats and links etc. Working on a website stops me doing what really want to do which is restoring the engines I have collected over the years.
Should you be interested, I would be happy to cooperate with you in finding a way to publish all the research on Stuarts and enable other interested people to appreciate the full range of Stuart engines.
There does not appear to be a private email facility on this forum, I am certain you can find a way to contact me, if you wish to discuss this further?
Regards,
Ray
